This event is for parents considering places for their children to start:
- Reception in September 2027
At St. George’s, our Christian vision of “Flourishing Together – life in all its fullness” (John 10:10) guides everything we do. We have recently invested significantly in our Early Years area to provide an inspiring, safe and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive, where we have spent over £100,000.
Come and explore our vibrant provision, meet our dedicated staff, and see how we nurture curiosity, creativity and confidence in every child. Whether you are just beginning your school search or ready to make a decision, we would love to welcome you and answer any questions.

When to apply
Parents can apply for a place in the Autumn of the year before their child turns 4. You must apply for a place as soon as possible:
- attendance at a nursery class does not give a child automatic priority for a place
- do not wait until your child is five years old, or your preferred school may already be full
- a place in the nursery doesn’t guarantee a place in reception and you still need to apply through the Birmingham City Council website
