Personal Development

At St. George’s, we believe Personal Development is an essential part of helping every child flourish and discover who God is calling them to be. Our wide range of after-school clubs nurtures diverse talents, from sport and music to creative arts and STEM activities, encouraging children to grow in confidence and character. Alongside this, we provide an exciting programme of educational visits and trips designed to broaden horizons, spark curiosity and deepen their sense of awe and wonder about God’s world.

These include local experiences such as exploring wildlife at Birmingham Conservation Park and learning about faith and culture at Birmingham Central Mosque, as well as residential opportunities like our London trip to discover the history, landmarks and vibrant culture of our capital city. Through these experiences, children not only gain knowledge but also reflect on how they can use their gifts to serve others and make a positive difference. Every enrichment opportunity becomes part of their journey in answering our guiding question: Who am I called to be?
